Area Assessments

The Heritage Studio has prepared a number of historic heritage area and character area assessments that range from small-scale historic town centres to larger residential subdivisions.

The assessment documents the historical development of an area, communicates its key physical features and characteristics, and identifies its values and the places that contribute to those values.

By providing an understanding of an area’s history, identity and values, we can also assist with the development of appropriate management approaches for these areas.
